Now, let me share a truly incredible story with you…

I first discovered that we create our own reality when I read ‘Seth Speaks’. Following this incredible book, I read many others that kept echoing this same truth. When I started to dig deeper, and discovered the way that we create our own reality, I realized that I was already doing it!

I am a hypnotist, but not a typical one. I developed my own techniques to help my clients achieve their goals and it’s those exact same techniques that also make the law of attraction work.

Previously, I’d only used my techniques to help people change things that are “inside” themselves, like losing weight, gaining confidence or quitting smoking. But based on everything I’d discovered about the law of attraction those same techniques should work for things that are “outside” of yourself too.

When I realised this I decided to put it to the test. I wanted to do something tangible, to attract a Physical object that would prove that the law of attraction works. My friend and I decided that the best way to test my techniques would be to win something. So, using the exact same techniques that you’ll discover in my book…

When we first started the experiment we wrote a list of things that we could manifest. The first two things on that list were an iPod Touch and a Nintendo Wii, the third was a car. We figured that winning a car would be much more exciting so this is what we decided to do.

My friend, Natalie, began researching which car she’d like to win. She chose a black Alfa Romeo MiTo Lusso, which had just been launched. From the hundreds of combinations available, she chose her preferred colour, spec, wheels, and trim.

I then guided her through the process of manifesting the experience of winning this specific car. I did this using the same techniques I’d used thousands of times with my hypnosis clients, only this time I wasn’t helping her to lose weight or quit smoking, I was helping her to win a car!

A few weeks after we started the experiment, Natalie saw an advert online to win a MiTo! It wasn’t the same one, it was a lower spec model, but she was really excited to enter the competition.

The competition was an online racing game with several stages. To qualify, she had to take a test drive in a MiTo, so we headed to our local Alpha showroom and told the clerk that we were there for the competition, he gave Natalie a form to complete, we did the test drive and then headed home.

Over the following days we raced on the game and managed to get the fastest time on several of the tracks. For posting the fastest time, we won an iPod Touch! This was amazing, it was the first thing we’d written on our list!

When it came to the final day, Natalie was confident that she was going to win. She had the fastest time on most of the tracks and her overall time we well ahead of the person in second position. She only had to post an average time on the final race and she’d win easily.

On the morning of the final day Natalie’s internet connection went down and she couldn’t race. As the time ticked away, she tried everything to get back online, she called her ISP and they insisted there wasn’t a problem. Desperate, she drove to her parents to use their computer, but their connection was too slow and the game wouldn’t even load.

As the competition came to a close, just as weirdly as it’d gone down, Natalie’s internet suddenly came back to life and she was finally able to log in. But it was too late. By missing the opportunity to post a fast time on the final race her overall score dropped her down into 3rd place. So she didn’t win the car. But… for coming third she did win a prize… a Nintendo Wii! The second item on our list!

One of the things I’d taught Natalie to do was to imagine events that would only happen after she’d won the car. She focused on 3 events. She imagined receiving an unexpected phone call with the good news that she was the winner, she imagined being handed the keys as the local newspaper took photos and she imagined showing the car to her parents.

If she’d won the race, she would have known that she was the winner, so the phone call would not have been unexpected, but this one was…

We were both sat in the kitchen drinking tea, talking about the experiment. We were really chuffed to have won the iPod Touch and the Nintendo Wii, but we couldn’t work out what had gone wrong with the car.

Natalie answered so I couldn’t hear the caller, but I did get to witness her reaction! Her eyes widened and she looked completely flabbergasted! “Really? How?”, she managed to stutter into the handset. As the conversation unfolded it was obviously very exciting (and very unexpected) news!

When the call finally ended, she grabbed both my arms and excitedly shock me as she shouted “I’ve just won a car!”

In a very bizarre twist of events, when we went to the showroom to take the test drive, we told the clerk that we were there for the competition, what we didn’t know at the time was that there were two competitions! There was the (very challenging) online game to win a red entry level MiTo Veloce, and there was an (absolutely no effort required) prize draw to win a top spec black Alfa Romeo MiTo Lusso, with the same alloy wheels and trim that Natalie had chosen!

When Natalie went to collect her prize the local paper were there to take some publicity shots.

Here she is, collecting her prize at the Alfa garage (that yellow car isn’t the one she won, but the photographer thought it’d show up better in the newspaper than the black one that she got to drive home!)

Here’s Natalie again, with the actual car she got to take home. A 1.4L Alfa Romeo Lusso with black metallic paint and the exact alloy wheels, trim and upholstery she’d chosen.

As you can imagine, Natalie was over the moon! But, as time went by she began to doubt that she’d made it happen. Although she’d manifested all three things on her list; The iPod Touch, the Nintendo Wii, and the exact car she’d asked for, she was beginning to pass it all off as a lucky coincidence.

So I said, “Let’s do it again!”

This time, Natalie decided to win a holiday. She wanted to go snowboarding, but she hated all the congested slopes and lift queues. She specifically requested a snowboarding holiday with empty runs, which is unheard off!

I suggested that she also add on to her manifestation a sign that would confirm that she’d made it happen. She chose the following symbol. This is the Flower of Life, and she requested that this symbol would appear to confirm that if she won a holiday, she’d made it happen.

Within a couple of weeks, Natalie stumbled into a competition to win a luxury snowboarding holiday to Mayrhofen, Austria. She submitted her entry just before the closing date and within a week she received an email confirming that she’d been picked as the winner!

Her prize was an all expenses paid luxury snowboarding holiday for two in the beautiful Berghof Hotel, Mayrhofen. When she arrived at the hotel, on the very first day, as she headed down into the restaurant for breakfast, she saw her sign…

Natalie was stunned to see the exact sign that she’d asked for as confirmation that she’d made it happen! But what about those empty slopes? Could the law of attraction deliver that too?

Every year in Austria the Snowbombing festival is held in Mayrhofen. This is an incredibly popular event, with famous DJs blasting their tunes across the slopes to thousands of people. Mayrhofen sits in a valley between two mountains, the Snowbombing festival is on one side of the valley, Natalie’s hotel is on the other. As the week unfolded it seemed that everybody else in Mayrhofen was there for the Snowbombing festivities, so that side of the valley was rammed! But, on her side of the valley, the runs that Natalie was snowboarding down were almost empty! Throughout the entire holiday she never had to queue once for a chair lift, and nobody got in her way on the slopes! I’ve been snowboarding for 30 years and I’ve never seen slopes this empty, but, it’s what she asked for, so it’s what she got!

Although it’s not as impressive as winning a new car or a luxury holiday, I want to share a personal experience with you because it was so random.

I used to drive a little red van, it was an ex Royal Mail van. I’d throw all my surfing gear in the back and head off on road trips to the beach. I even slept in it on occasion. I loved it, but, it was pretty shabby.

One day, as I was loading my gear back into the van I decided that I ought to get some hubcaps to tidy it up a bit. That night, as I slowly drifted off to sleep, I imagined how much nicer my van would look with new ‘shoes’.

The next day, while walking along the seafront I could see a box up ahead in the middle of the promenade. When I got to it, I was stunned! I picked it up and took it home…

How random is that! I was so chuffed. It’s only a small thing, and I could have easily bought them myself but finding them, sitting there waiting for me in the middle of the promenade was so much more exciting. I’ve attracted lots of random stuff like this. I love it! As you can clearly see. These techniques really do work, often in very surprising and unexpected ways!
